The show is pretty good, but there’s some pretty glaring plot holes. One in particular, regarding season 2, is the fact that their whole survival is hinging on them having to plant outside the walls because of “bad soil” inside the town when the obvious and simple solution would be indoor hydro/aeroponic farming. I mean, at the very least they could just bring in soil from outside the wall to plant with. I might be knit-picking, but when it comes to sci-fi I like it when they get the sci part right, otherwise it can really mess with the immersion. Slightly campy quality that you would expect from a Fox production, but good casting makes up the difference. Would give it 4 stars if the whole premise surrounding the second season wasn’t so ridiculous…
