Had to declare how brilliant this show was- an exhilarating and completely heartbreaking journey superbly cast and played with a landscape and characters I recognised with all the authentic details! It put me straight back there in the era when I came to London and had a ball but also we lost companions and experienced the enormous fear. Russell T. Davies has written his finest piece from the heart, I know he was there. Please award all the BAFTAs etc as this is a tour de force from everyone involved! It haunts me still and will stay with me for a long time to come.
