I have never read a book quite like this! It is extraordinary. Written in the form of 200 transcribed audio files sent to a professor by an inspector, 'investigating a mysterious case'. Recorded on an iPhone 4 by a Steven Smith, the files first recount his story, as a dyslexic child, of finding a book on a bus by the disgraced children's author Edith Twyford, and of his teacher, Miss Iles, who is convinced a secret code, to something, is hidden in all of Twyford's Super Six books. When Miss Iles, mysteriously, goes missing on a school trip, and Steven has no recollection of what happened on the trip, as an adult and ex con, he sets out to find his school pals and find out what happened to his Remedial English teacher, Miss Iles.
If you like a mystery novel that is also a puzzle to solve, as it was For Me! This is for You, and the ending is absolutely amazing!
In a moment nothing ordinary transcends here, every recording brings realization of the hope ever reaching.
