47 minutes into this movie and I’m writing a review. I didn’t read the Artemis Fowl series so I can’t provide any insight on that but I will say that Artemis comes across as odd and robotic. He’s not likable and thus, I don’t have much interest in the movie. Characters especially leads should reel the viewer in to the story; they should make the viewer either root for or against them. In this case, I just simply don’t care about Artemis.
