I never thought such a Kdrama would hit so close to home and to my heart. The struggles that Mr. Sim had with his alzheimers, the beautiful relationship between Chae Rok and Mr. Sim, all the wonderful side stories and incredible characters...it really touched me deeply. This beautiful series is so underrated, so gorgeously depicted and the incredible ballet that these folks learned for this show...it just was amazing to see such love and sincerity in film. Everyone needs to watch this till the end. They wrapped this up perfectly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This series is amazing, fantastical and beyond beautiful. Tom Sturridge's interpretation of Dream of the Endless is genius. His acting balances emo / gothic dramatic with incredibly subtle tidal waves of repressed emotions. LOVE IT. The dreamscapes have a whole new meaning here. Every episode is a work of art. The cast is so well in-tuned with each other that you forget this is a fantasy comic. This series is an outstanding and faithful interpretation to the spirit of Neil Gaiman's vision and work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. #TheSandmanSeason2 please, #Netflix!

This show is so freaking amazing, intelligent and captivating. I felt gutted along with Loki as he came to the realization that the TVA is real. I loved the cheeky humor and this entire concept of the TVA. Tom Hiddleston plays a masterclass Loki (of course) and Owen Wilson is a perfect TVA agent fighting the bureaucracy! HA. This show is better and more thoughtful than the movies, and I am so grateful that they put Tom Hiddleston's talents and intelligence to incredible use. A MUST WATCH.

Mads is wonderful in this. There isn't a lot of dialogue in this film, but the struggle is perfectly depicted in the elements. Mads' performance makes the audience empathize for the character, torn between rooting for him to stay vs leaving familiar grounds. The best of ourselves come out when unexpected responsibility lay at our feet, and we have the opportunity to make a choice. That duality made me pause time and again. A simple and elegant film.

I'm not usually a fan of James Patterson novels, movies or shows, but I gave this show, Instinct, a shot because of Alan Cumming. The overall premise of the show as a "whodunnit" + heavy character backstory (ex-CIA, professor, author, NYPD consultant, married gay man in NYC!!) is quirky and solid. If you're a fan of Elementary, The Mentalist or Criminal Minds, this show is sort of in the same category. The difference is in the protagonist, Dr. Dylan Reinhart, his relationships with his NYPD partner and his personal struggles to balance his professional and personal life. Alan Cumming carries the show through and really shines. His eccentric, brilliant and fashionable depiction of the character really keeps the audience engaged. However, if you're expecting a really mystery-focused crime drama, this isn't the show for you. The crime is interesting, but it's Dylan Reinhart's interpretation and analysis of the crimes that are more of the focus. A nice twist to the deluge of crime drama shows. Really sad that CBS cancelled this show. It would have been interesting to see how they would have developed this series further.

I am a hardcore TNG fan, and I was wary of watching this series. Admittedly, Star Trek Picard is not the same as TNG. The storyline is interconnected and build on each episode to a climactic finale. There is a lot of action in the show, and it really feels more like watching several short films in the movie theatre. The acting was superb, the care and thoughtful character development and connection to Insurrection was fantastic, the performances were amazing and the overall filming and season was a tour de force I really enjoyed. Even though this wasn't typical Star Trek and it felt less geared towards science fictional archetypes, Star Trek Picard Season 1 was an immensely great journey, and I look forward to Season 2.
