While I do enjoy a sappy Nicholas Sparks movie for what it is (unrealistic, indulgent sappy love stories with the always reliable dose of tradgedy) this movie sucked. The leads were not even attractive, and couldn't convince me of any chemistry with their acting. This is why I stick to books.
