If you've been reading Chetan Bhagat for so long, this is a breathe of fresh air for you. Even though the protagonist feels like a typical Chetan 'five-point-someone' average joe, he has written a good murder mystery with a nice tadka of romance and humour. I loved how the author brings subtly addresses the tension in Kashmir, prejudices that prevail in the society, and the problems with the law and order system without attracting much controversy. The book could have easily be 30-40 pages longer as I felt disappointed due to the fact that some of the most important plot points were just presented in monologues rather than the investigators discovery. But overall, it's an engaging read.
