I have had no knowledge about the life of Pandits in Kashmir, therefore would be incorrect to comment on that, however it is disturbing to see the level of brutality, if it is true, as the film claims.
I felt Mithun Chakraborty Sir was misfit for that role. The anger and the helplessness he tried to portray did not look realistic on his facial expression and in body language. There’s a lot of imperfection of accent in His dialogue deliveries. Inspite of his illustrious tenure in Hindi films his Hindi still has a lot of influence of Bengali.
Anupam Kher, Sir done a superb job, noticed a little over do in some scenes. May be Director wanted that.
Pallaby Joshi, Brilliant as always.
Every single character artists have done their best.
Commandable cinematography. So is the direction, editing and detailing of Art and production.
These sort of films keep the heart heavy for a long time. I would expect the next film from the director on happier side.
Best always!
