Certainly one of the best books I have read in recent times. We know Kasturba only as a faithful companion of Mahatma Gandhi. Thanks to Arun Gandhi we learn that Kasturba was much more than a mere shadow. She had a strong personality of her own, displaying firmness in a gentle manner in every situation in her life. She remained humble and and yet very innovative in dealing with her husband and coming to terms with him.
