I absolutely LOVE this show. This version is told from a young black boy's point of view. Do you think that black people related to the 1988 version. Nope! But when you say things like "it's not told from a 11 year old point of view". If you were 11 and white; how do you know what the point of view is. You can't relate. However, if you watch the show you might learn something. This was our reality.
