It is sad that such a beautiful movie is poorly rated. It is a movie that came strongly recommended to me by friends, and after watching, I had no doubt why. It was afterwards that I realised it is not what people would call "a great movie", and IMDB rating concurs with that. Frankly, I don't get why. So I'd describe the movie is one word - UNDERRATED. Heart-touching, deep, flawless.. What more do you need from a romantic movie. Even though the theme is one that was used several times in the past, the movie is 100% original.

The best dog movie ever made, but you don't have to be a dog person to enjoy it. I remember watching it as a kid and crying myself to sleep that night. But I watched it again as an adult, and again, cried myself to sleep that night. It is a movie that can fill you up and empty you all at once. Unless you are willing to put yourself through such an emotional turnmoil for hours straight in order to enjoy a spectacular work of art, don't watch it.. If you judge a movie based on its ability to make people emotional, this is one of the best movies ever made.
