I have not read the books neither played the game but found myself amazed by the movie. It is a very good show, loved it. Henry Cavill was born to play this role (and also superman), Yennefer back story was beautifully told. I was pretty impressed with how they balanced the timelines and eventually delivered a pretty good last 2 episodes. Netflix struck gold with this.
