I chose to study Never Let Me Go for my A level English Literature course, along with Perfume by Patrick Suskind. Never Let Me Go is an amazing novel with Ishiguro exploring the relationships of individuals under a short time limit, with the knowledge that they do not have long to live. The aspect of cloning brings the novel to a whole new level, presenting society with as little care towards the students as possible ultimately brings the relationships they have with fellow students a whole new value. Getting to go on this journey with Kath, Tommy and Ruth was an amazing experience and I 100% recommend this book!
