I was surfing on YouTube and this little video posted by IGN in 2013 popped up in my recommendations about a film called Pain & Gain. The movie clip was 8 or so minutes long and by the time the clip was over, the movie had managed to draw me in. That's a great feat to accomplish, and I fully applaud the script and Mark Wahlberg. In this film, Michael Bay has managed to direct a good movie with the budget lowered and more emphasis on character. You can feel a certain sleazy and douche attitude sifting from Mark's character. And what makes this film even more interesting, is that it's based on a true story. I fully recommend this film to anyone that says Michael Bay can't make a great film.
