Truly excellent book. The ideas and possibilities are brought together to generate exceptional storytelling. It’s billed as a children’s book but the ideas are very adult that older children and adults will love.

A very slow and disappointing film despite a number of high profile actors and some good performances. There is a lot of action that is frankly irrelevant and where interesting characters and relationships occur they are not developed. The climax occurs so gently you wonder if there might be more. There isn’t.

This is excellent. Very good progression of the narrative coupled with believable characters that you develop an interest in. Builds to an exciting and emotional climax. Well worth a watch and for that matter, a second series.
