Absolutely loved this movie. I never thought such a 1-dimensional character like Broly could quickly become one of the deepest characters in Dragon Ball History. If you're not open to the non fighting and very silly parts of Dragon Ball you'll probably be board through a bit of it but if you like that stuff you'll end up needing to catch your breath from laughing. The fighting and animation is extremely well done, not as good as something like My Hero Academia, but still much better than Dragon Ball Super's normal animation. (Altho this is much expected this being a big movie, not a show.) The CGI is clearly there and it's very forgiving, but it's not that bad. It's different and clashes with the normal animation but it's not horrible CGI. If you're bothered by CGI then it will probably bring your thoughts down a bit, but if you don't mind then you probably wont care.
My favorite part about this movie is that this isn't a normal, oh hay it's goku and vegeta fighting someone, story. This is an emotional movie about an abuse victim. This has quickly became my favorite dragon ball movie so far and after sometime to think, broly has became my favorite character in Dragon Ball.
If you're a fan of Dragon Ball, please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this. My final verdict, 5/5.
