I second the comment posted by Sharma below. The writers clearly don't have any in-depth knowledge of contemporary geo-politics. The fact is that, developing economic powers are doing much more than US ever did or does in maitaining a balance of power and peace. Yet, the writers are shameless in potraying every other country as inferior to US when it comes to political, social and democratic maturity.
I can overlook the fact that the show focuses on foreign policy of US and doesn't even touch the domestic issues. Well, it's about their state department. But I bet this is a CIA or US Gov. sponsored show. Propaganda is all it is. Don't agree? Well.. US-Iran nuclear deal. Hahaha...Height of hypocrisy.
I am very much waiting till someone with guts makes a show on the role of US in destabilizing middle east in post WW-II era, especially in Iran and well... everywhere else. Shashi Throor might be someone who can be that impartial writer.
But i'll have to admit, facts and propaganda aside, I loved the idea of the position of Sec. of State. May be because being a foreign policy maker has always been my dream. And have no clue how to get into it. Shushma Ji, if you're reading this, I am your guy! :P :D :D
