Sandra Bullock plays the role of a convicted killer who gets out of prison after 20 years. she desperately tries to find her little sister that she lost 20 years back. any redemption story, she should find her sister. but how and under which circumstances, there remains the story. i'm never too keen to follow the critics. and this time as well i didn't checked the score on the rotten tomato. glad i didn't. after a long time, i saw a movie through the eye of the actor. as the story went on to unfold the events, i could only imagine a bit of pain the character was going through. she reminded me the character of brooks, from the shawshank redemption. she took me along with her journey, a journey of a very emotional ride. the past started to unfold, and my vision started to get blurred. i shed a few drops of tears. those are very precious drops of salt water. the best cleaning material for the soul. no shame in that.
