I can't stand Will Ferrell, he just plays a giant man baby in nearly ever movie or show he's in an I just do not find it funny. This movie however is an absolute masterpiece. It perfectly blends drama, romance, and subtle comedy in a unique story. He did such a good job playing this part it really makes me wonder why he doesn't do more films like this, instead of resorting to absurdist potty humor.

This isn't Carmilla, why even call it that? The book is already a masterpiece why not just do a faithful adaptation!?

I predicted the ending of this movie in the first 5 minutes. Can no one create a thrilling unpredictable horror movie anymore? A certain Barenaked Ladies song springs to mind. It's all been done before!
