I believe you

Very, very disappointing. Think Smallville, but bad. Smallville, wholesome, family viewing, okay for daytime T.V. Brightburn, bad use of powers, gory, late night film, only. Painfully similar to Smallville, in every way.

Very pleasantly surprised. Really good performances, from all the actors. Realistic, believable. I would recommend watching. The backdrop of 80's New York is stunning. Back when movies could be filmed using real locations, and people. The family the boy comes from is Puerto Rican. It is said, at least, three times, in the film. If you actually follow the story, his dad was an accountant, for the mob, who notices payments to cops, FBI, etc. So, the main characters have no one for protection.

Good film, if you have seen the directors cut. You can see just how much was cut by whoever, for whatever reason, when it's on T.V.

Hilarious.Great movie,loads of ridiculousness.Why is Frank,so smart to get himself out of danger,yet the whole story is because he left a ridiculously big,obvious,easy,clue?Very good support acting,by everyone involved.Have seen this film,multiple times.Laugh at the script,characters,jokes,acting,over-the-top story,everytime.Love it.

Some,really good actors(especially,the lead),putting actually believable characters,into a believable story,with very likely,and very similar to real life jobs.I really liked this film,because it could actually happen.

Very,very disappointing.Everyone got paid,and it probably made more money,than it cost to make.So it is a 'success'.Anything can be done,with CGI,now days.

Utter rubbish.Good job it finished ten years ago.I hope they don't make any more.What muppet,thought this would be good T.V.?Still,everyone got paid,that's all that matters.

Actually,thought this was a good production.No unecessary swearing,totally believable story,nothing,over the top,and ridiculous.The fight scenes were really good.No shaky,close up,camera work,rendering it un-watchable.Even the ending,was believable.There was a clear moral,as well.We give up way too much control,far too easily,to technology,without thinking of any consequences.This was well highlighted by the driverless car scenes.The owners,are literally,just passengers.Maybe,some post 2000 films are worth watching,most put me off in the first minute.
