I still couldn't get myself to watch after ep 10. This story is really good but the casting is way too older for the characters. I can't find much chemistry so. Also idk why Go Ara always gets this kind of dumb cute k drama girl characters when she doesn't have a look or age that fits it. I need to see her in a more serious role cuz she is such a good actress. Spoiler!!! Story is good but I lost it when it said Sunwoo Jun is a high school student. That didn't felt right and also he totally didn't look like a one as he looks older than Ra Ra. Also Idk why they took Kim Joo Hun as the second lead, he looks way too old to act that role. Then again he's also a very good actor, so yeah it all comes to casting being wrong. I don't recommend this much.

Spoiler alert!!! If you're someone like me who doesn't like to get spoiled before watching something please do not read. I usually do not say anything that spoils in reviews but I just finished watching this and super thrilled, so I need to let this out 🤭 I skipped watching this drama assuming that it was just a highschool romance story but wow! It went beyond my expectations that it's even realistic than young adult dramas. What I love most about this is that the Good guy actually wins at the end. Typical K dramas like BOF always made the bad guy into good at the end and twisted stories 🤮 But I've seen lots of modern dramas with love triangles make it fairer for both guys. Now in this one there's no actual bad guy but the guy who is consistent about feelings and who actually put efforts get the girl which is actually nice. This is the 3rd drama I watched with this kind of ending others being Reply 1988, Start up. All have different plots but all make us feel for one guy at first and then there comes another guy which seems to not gonna win at the end based on all the love triangle dramas we've been watching for years, but actually does. I love Kim So Hyun as she is a great young actress with exceptional acting skills compared to other same age actresses who only knows to roll eyes and etc lol I highly recommend this drama ❤️

I really loved this drama. It made me go all nighter after many years 🤭 The story is really great and all the actors played their roles extremely well and natural. The romantic plot was also exciting and it didn't have useless dragging. Also this drama shows the true efforts of the characters to achieve their goals rather than everything goes their way miraculously. It was very motivational and I loved every character even the bad ones lol 😂 Must watch drama and it made my Top 10 dramas ❤️❤️❤️

It's a good drama but nothing special. Same as all those flower boy dramas but in a historical version. Other than Park Seo-joon obviously showing his terrific acting. All the others were just over acting as usual typical K dramas like this. There are many historical dramas with same taste which has much better acting like Sungkyunkwan Scandal. And I still don't get why it's called Poet Warrior when there is no poem or whatsoever anywhere in this drama lol 😂 I would've enjoyed more if it didn't have that Disney princess cartoon background music. That was super irritating.
