Love this book and this wonderful author. I live in Eastern Kentucky and was so impressed with the accuracy and integrity of how she displayed our area and people. The true story of the pack horse librarians and the "blue" people of Kentucky was so interesting. I enjoyed every minute of the book. I have also had the pleasure of meeting the author and she is just as interesting and great as the book!

This was an amazing book. Such a moving story and was told so well. I was grabbed from page one and never lost interest. I know there was some controversy over whether the author, who is not an immigrant, should tell an immigrant's story but it is a work of fiction and a great story. It may not be representative of most immigrants' journey but it was a great book. Loved it.
