Woke version of the book and with Poirot in love! Subtlely of course. Kenneth Branagh is brilliant as Poirot and I hope he will continue to make more Poirot movies.

If you haven't watched this show, watch it for Anya Taylor-Joy's STUNNING performance!! Even the other actors who played her mother, the younger version of Beth, Benny, Shaibel, Borgov, everybody did an amazing job of bringing their characters to life. The show is visually a treat to watch. CGI is done very realistically. The story keeps you engaged and maintains its pace. Not to mention Anya Taylor-Joy's costumes and the way she carries them off are very impressive! This show is a must-watch whether you play chess or not!

Don't be put off by the cringey first 10 minutes of the film which looks like some 80's horror parody! Keep watching for the unique plot and a villain unlike any seen before! It's bizarre with silly acting and jokes from the side characters but the main protagonist is brilliant. Creepy and quite scary at times, this one might just give you nightmares!

Unlike the original tamil movie, this movie is a purely one time watch. I can watch Kanchana any number of times and it will still make me laugh, but there was something about this Hindi remake which made the characters appear one dimensional and boring and the jokes very artificial appearing, like they were trying too hard to be funny. Even though all the actors have done their very best, they are no match for the tamil cast. The video for burjkhalifa appears very messy. This film stopped being funny less than halfway into the first half whereas Kanchana's hallmark was its humor. Still, 3 stars for the hardwork all the actors have put in and the message that is imparted which hopefully has reached a wider audience thanks to the wider reach of bollywood.

Looked very promising in the beginning. Interesting premise, big actors. With horror films the movie tends to pick up once the paranormal activities start but it was the opposite with this movie. Instead of picking up pace and moving on to a plot twist of an ending, it just slowed and simmered until it stopped abruptly at an unsatisfactory ending. The gimmicks were too slow making them completely predictable. And how the movie relates to the title, the significance of Rhodora's tattoo, is never revealed or rather, there doesn't seem to be any connection. Had this been just a movie of people trying to profit off an art heist and knock each other off in the process without any ghost involved, it would have made for a much more interesting thriller.
