Don't read the one star reviews unless you can read between the lines and see that they would leave a bad review regardless of if they had seen the movie, it's just racists, sexists, and Snyder Cut film bros (same thing I know sorry for repeating myself) hating on something just to hate on it. This movie was fantastic. It has lots of everything you would want in a superhero movie, action, comedy, compelling plot that calls back to already setup things in previous MCU projects. But don't think that you can't understand it if you haven't seen the other media. It goes by the age old Stan Lee creed of writing every story even a continuation of could be someones first story in the world.

Phoned in acting, terrible production, I wanted to like it because it had an interesting premise, but I couldn't get beyond 12 minutes in.

Very well done adaptation, some added elements that worked very well in my opinion. The animation is a great stylized combination of nature watercolor paintings, photorealism and little nods to previous adaptations of Adams's novel. Voice work is well casted and acted.
