stunning. captivating. fascinating. marvelous. these are words i would describe gooby (2009). as a youngling, i too was afraid of the eerie hoonies. i would see them lurking... spying... scaring. i had not an inkling of a clue as to what could get these hoonies to go away. as soon as i watched gooby (2009), my fear for hoonies soon turned into love for gooby (from gooby (2009)) just as it did for little willy. the second i laid my peepers on gooby and his alluring, charming, desolate eyes and his stinky matted fur i knew that hoonies were no longer. gooby (2009) was truly a life changer. my love for hot dogs has grown exponentially, for i too will (from time to time) bite off a chunk of hot dog and then propel the rest into a small, innocent child’s face as i learned from gooby. gooby (2009)** from 2009**, also taught me about friendships. boundaries as well. if a big, hairy, smelly, old man/creature were to approach me, we would instantly become inseparable and overall problematic for each other. it also taught me about family. how if i’m being ignored, as a child, i should indefinitely lie to my parents over and over, and then be forced into a life-threatening traumatic situation and all will be well once again. so, thank you, gooby (2009), for guiding me through life. for giving me a purpose. for showing me the ways of a “no snot about it” lifestyle. couldn’t have done without it
