I don’t understand why Ayushmann’s movies don’t get many reviews. Maybe people still haven’t realized how talented he is. Talking about this movie, it was a complete laughter riot. Ayushmann, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz were outstanding. The ending wasn’t that good but it is hard to write an end for such light hearted entertainment movies that are little far from reality. Overall it was worth watching in theatre and I would recommend anyone reading this review to go & watch with their friends/ family.

It was a pretty average movie, idk what people are liking in this. The first half, that tries to create a chemistry between Rajveer and Raunak was very songs driven. There were less of meaningful conversations/ events that could define why they were coming close to each other. It was more like whenever Rajveer sees Raunak, a song starts playing and he starts daydreaming. Nothing special about the songs too. Just tried to forcefully glorify the romance between two. Now coming to the second part, I hoped that the turnaround in their fortunes would be something meaningful, but it wasn’t. Like it was just 11th grade love(with very few scenes shown in first half supporting that it’s a super powerful love) and they’re not past that even after 10 years??? Also to my amaze, Raunak immediately made a decision to leave her husband and son seeing that her 11th grade lover is not doing well??? To add to this, her husband was ok with this too and said he’ll support her. Like what??That man’s character was complete joke. Overall the movie was a joke. I feel nowadays punjabi movies are lacking these things: good storyline, good script writing, and songs with sensible lyrics. Thanks for reading it this far.
