This is easily the BEST comic out there. Filled with Ales Ross' spectacular writing and unmatched artwork, it brings a completely new story that still stays true to the characters. I enjoyed every moment reading this. I loved it so much I bought my own copy, and read it again, and now I'm reading it AGAIN and writing a report on it. The designs are wonderfully creative and each and every panel is spectacular and there is no moment wasted.

"Crisis On Infinite Earths" is yes, enjoyable, but is also an overly complicated and long, overrated mediocre story. It was good at first, but as it went on it began to feel excessive and unnecessary. There are many comic books out there, "Kingdom Come" for instance, that live in the shadow of this and don't get nearly enough credit, even though they are WAY better than "Crisis On Infinite Earths."

Though well made, “Knightmares” feels like a jumbled mess written for the sole purpose of it being “Volume 10.” Though, yes, he is in <SPOILERS> a catotonic state, it is still a confusing mess that serves little purpose in the overall plot.

“The Tyrant Wing” does an excellent job of escalating the overarching storyline of Bane, truly illustrating the paranoia he has installed into the other rogues, and landing an expertly placed cliffhanger.

An interesting perspective on the psyche of Batman posing a question many never thought would be asked, what if Batman was wrong? Stunning artwork and storytelling delivers one of the best in the line.

“The Wedding” poses the puzzling question of, can Batman be happy and be Batman? The Joker mini-story was by far the best part. The one complaint, is a loose ending that will take you a while to figure out. As I understand it, <SPOILERS> Catwoman left Bruce inorder for the betterment of Batman, because Gotham needs Batman.

Though an interesting a well-crafted story, “Rules of Engagement” comes up short when compared to the others in the series. On the upnote, Talia al Ghul is an excellent character that I was excited to see.

Tom King tells an excellent story, providing the perfect introduction to Riddler, and, more excitingly, the Joker into the DC Rebirth. It gives a perfectly unique story of when an enemy of my enemy is not my friend.

A brilliant follow up to “I am Suicide”, “I am Bane” weaves a suspensful story of hate and revenge. Batman’s truest fears are realized, and it shows just how good he is.

Tom Kind once again delivers a brilliantly unique story. It does a masterful job of setting up a story arc that will continue for the entire line, giving a sense of anger and resentment at the end.
