Selling sunset is an easy watch. It's less about real estate and more about the life of the real estate agents set against a beautiful backdrop. Can get a bit like a mix between a school playground and a pantomime at times. However, decent characters like Maya (who clearly couldn't care less about anyone other than her own family) and Amanza (who has real issues to deal with) add some grounding and realism to the programme. It's going to be difficult to keep the stories fresh going forward, as these agents have latched on to using the series to bolster their own personal brands and reality has clearly taken a back seat. Mainly watched season 4 for those who are slowly realising how lucrative this show can be for them and letting their desperation to be included shine through (mainly Davina and the blind person who is styling her, Emma and whoever is (not) dressing her, Romain and his sudden transformation from pastry chef/Model into a Project Manager - stand by health and safety disaster).
