Damn, I was NOT expecting this to be all that intense! I read the story in my science fiction class, I wasn't very disturbed by the book at all because it didn't really describe anything but this- THIS is what I needed to be terrified! Horror stories need to be VISUAL and DETAILED in order to get the feel of the genre, after the mom and son got hit by lightning, thats when I got a bit traumatized. In the book, it never really mentioned the mom and son mutating together (or it did and I just wasn't paying attention) but the other stuff, like the crops going bad, it did mention. Overall the ending left me shook, I do recommend this but please, if you get disturbed easily- this is not for you, but horror cravers like me, go ahead, grab some friends, and enjoy what this movie has to bring!

Me and my stepmom decided to watch this because my stepmom’s friend told her it was good, we started watching it up until an unwanted scene came up like 30 minutes (I think) into the movie, the rape scene, I suggest to my stepmom that we should just turn the movie off and go to bed, and we did. Please DO NOT watch this unless you have the guts to, it’s too disturbing

*slight spoiler warning* I just went to see this yesterday with my mom and older sister and loved it! It has horror with a bit of comedy like when gage (the dad) walks outside to greet the doppelgängers, he says “the police is on DE WAY!” And “if y’all wanna get crazy, we can get crazy!” Made us crack up. Anyways besides that, the story is super creative with no cringy, old cliches, it also has a really great soundtrack! This is honestly the best horror movie of 2019 to me!

My older sister suggested this to me— she said it was her favorite, and for me, it’s lame— I didn’t even get scared AT ALL. No wonder this is on Netflix! 🤣🤣🤣

I seen this after the day it came out, a few months earlier me and my older sister saw a preview of it before the Halloween movie, we thought it looked boring, but when I saw the trailer and found that Jackson Robert Scott in it, I just HAD to see it, And I did, it’s pretty scary, with a plot twist ending that can possibly lead to a second movie. Miles also says some inappropriate stuff in the movie, that honestly shocked me, so I advise young children to not watch this movie, but overall it is great!

I’m glad I searched this before I watched, sorry, death note.... but I think i’ll pass.

Let’s all just get the fact that this movie is CREEPY! But also good, It can also get confusing like we don’t get to see if Ellie is ok, and why did that other dude hit Louis... but anyways the gore is creepy like the death of jud made my neck feel weird 🤣🤣 But yeah, I recommend this movie to the ones who are seeking a good horror movie to watch!
