Three separate sub-plots try to make a bigger plot but ultimately fail to make an(y) impression. Set design, costumes, music are on par with the high standards and higher expectations one may have while walking into the screening hall, but after the whole debacle that is 'Kalank' is done and dealt with one question arises: Did they spend so much on set-costumes that only pennies were spared on the story and (cringeworthy) dialogues?
