Unlike BvS, Watchman never deviates from its path. A movie that changed how people see the super-hero genre,its dark, gritty and protagonists representing the society in their own different and fresh perspective, Snyder manages to re-introduce the comic-book genre and open new doors to explore within it.

Not a masterpiece, nor the greatest super-hero film of our time, but it perfectly brings a sense of realism on the concept of superheroes existing in the world. It's far from perfect, has a lot of flaws and yes, divisive. It is a movie solely for the people who are willing to understand how a world with supers would react rather than those who only want to see superman pitted against batman in live action.

Succeeds in doing what very few superhero movies are able to do these days. Has a perfect balance of fun, joy, emotion and darkness. Not the greatest movie in its genre, but delivers a great time at the theater by bringing back and portraying perfectly the heart of the comic-book move genre: Family.
