Angie Mazen

The narrator is incredibly irritating- making it hard to find the motivation to read the book. Much of the prose seems to be filling pages; feels so pointless, wordy without being descriptive at all. The book becomes stressful because you keep waiting for it to get good, but it never does. Even the action scenes are mentally draining. I found myself skimming this book and even so feeling like I wasted my time.
