Janice Hurley has made an outstanding contribution to dental practice marketing and branding with "Dental Image Branding". I have to admit that this book snuck up on me as I had pretty much assumed it was about "how to dress for success". While there is certainly ample content on that subject, it barely touches the surface of how Janice unpacks the impact of all that impacts the senses inside a dental office. For the dental practice community, it is the first significant follow-on since Ken Blanchard's "Raving Fans". Ms. Hurley makes the kind of no nonsense observations that make you ask why you didn't think of that. It's clear that she has made a science out of studying how the way we dress, groom, carry ourselves, maintain our wardrobe, etc. impacts patient decision-making and team effectivess in a dental practice setting. My wife also picked it up and read it without any interest in the dental community and found it delightful. As someone who has trained dental teams around the country and abroad on how to improve the new patient experience, this book makes me more of an expert than I would ever have been on my own. In fact, anyone or any business that deals will people up close or on a stage will be much-improved by putting her insights into practice. Thank you, Janice!
