This is truly a personal opinion. I love gore. You name it and I'm sure I've seen it. So here I am ready to watch 'Apostle' and I am not only disappointed but pretty annoyed. There is no plot. Nothing to keep you on the edge. No compelling or convincing acting. No connection. No sense! It was sheer curiosity that made me watch this 120 minutes movie. Was there gore? Sure, in bits and pieces. But if that's all was required to make a movie of this genre, anyone could do it. Cult movies should be exciting. Here there was no cult. No foundation. Even if you have nothing to do and have watched every other movie on Netflix, do not watch this. Unless ofcourse you want to plummet to mental pain.
