I first read the book (and Little Men and Jo’s Boys) nearly 70 years ago. I loved it then and this movie today (as the 1994 movie). It took a bit to get into the out of real-time sequence of scenes but the story, the values come through. But is there anyone who doesn’t really want Jo to have married Laurie?
