[No Spoiler:]
A beautiful movie through and through. I really liked how the artists approached this film and it’s a nice contrast to the more lazy methods of film making. It sets an even higher bar for animated films than the last movie.
You, of course, need to watch Spider-Man: Into the Spider verse first. But I liked that they did a little recap in the beginning since it’s been a while.
The plot was clever, leaving you with the right questions but not so many that you’re confused. The emotional aspect of each character’s journey through the film was great. I thought Gwen was displayed as a really cool character in this film and she wouldn’t definitely been a childhood favorite had this film came out when I was younger.
I really recommend this movie for any age - especially to Spider-Man and Marvel fans.
A major forewarning to photosensitive viewers though, this film is not at all tame with the flashing lights and colors (similar to the last one).
