I really enjoyed the movie because it was realistic and it showed what brave men Hamer and Gault were. Frank Hamer was probably one of the three toughest Rangers to ever wear the Star. Bill McDonald and Jack Hayes being the other two. There were only 2 things I saw that were changed for whatever reason. 1st was that Bonnie shot the officers in the head while on the ground. I believe it was in the book but I could be wrong "The life of a Texas police officer" by Frost that Hamer states after talking to the farmer for some time who witnessed the Grapevine killing finally admitted it was probably a man ( Henry Methvin ) who probably executed the peace officers. 2nd was the story Hamer was telling Clyde's father about being dragged away after being shot. It was not a stranger it was his younger brother who was helping him sharecrop a piece of land owned by the person who shot him. All in all I really enjoyed this movie, it has been a long time coming to get the truth out from the other side. Thanks Kevin and Woody for doing a superb job!!
