What a great read from start to finish. The story of a young man with huge aspirations, dreams only to be tainted by bad luck. But no bitterness ensues , just great stories about some of those great people who George met on life's journey. Whilst a successful career with Liverpool FC was only hindered by some of our now seen as 'greats' George Scott's life followed a path of great guidance from great people, lots of love from all who George associated with and the odd stroke of luck. A humble family man who lived for his adoring family , a family including himself fraught with ill health , battled through all adversity , now retired enjoying those golfing days and family gatherings. This book is a must read !!! Once you start it will be very hard to put down until you reach the end. (You may need one or two tissues close by) Thank you for sharing George.
