Average at best sluggish et predictable with gimmicky score playing everything ZYC springs into action 😮‍💨🙄who by the way sounds more a teen than a demon overlord atleast didn’t impress me and overall ensemble are all ok nothing to write home about premise has promise but disappointing really overall. Watch it if you literally have nothing to do as there’s better Wuxia adaptations which I’d happily repeat than this.

Snoozefest / Subpar plot disappointing and predictable climax further adding insult to injury caused by poor casting. Over promised and under delivered and historically inaccurate. Not one iota of scripting or performance in this mess of a series. Whatever happened to staying true to the authors vision or narrative. Like most of period dramas off late this was more woke than entertaining or interesting.
