The show itself has some flaws that it keeps repeating over the course of season 2, most of which are attributed to the overused concept of time traveling across decades in the entertainment industry. But what it thrives on is in the character development of its main characters most of whom are your irregular flawed superheroes who battles their inner "daddy" issues and their own existence. Season 2 does have enough to keep the viewers hooked till the last episode despite their obvious plot holes and irrelevant sentiments. Some of the scenes felt like they were pushed into the story to make it socially relevant but hardly contributed much to the progress of the time line. But Umbrella academy is still a good series to pass your time and it looks like they are good for atleast another season.
