Fabulous ! He lead an operatic life himself , full of drama and colour , his voice was sublime and this film brought tears to my eyes when he sang . I didn’t know about how close he grew to Bono , and feel he was a genuine lovely man . His love life was no more complicated than any other mans but Italy was very judgemental . Some moments and scenes , all filmed from real life , are legendary events ,, the great arias in the first performance of the Three Tenors , his singing in a huge deserted opera house in the South American jungle , the film is full of documented performances specially with the NYMet, Go and see it , it’s in a class f it’s own , and you will never see another film like this .
