Tragic. Yet another take on mental illness mislabeled under Horror when at best it might be suspense.. ish? Summary: Mom is grieving after 1 of 3 daughters die and eventually tries to get herself and the 2 remaining to join in a murder suicide?? No, but wait.. it's not her.. it's the imaginary gray man/preacher/drifter..in her mind? Yeah No. Hollywood please hear us: Not every film requires gotcha twists, mental illness vibes and endings that require interpretation! Sometimes a good film just needs a solid plot, some peaks and valleys and a clear & concise conclusion. Sheesh

I knew that it was going to be bad but I did NOT know that it was going to be tragic. This movie was a colossal waste of time and was all over the place. To be honest the Miley Cyrus Black Mirror episode puts this... "movie"... to shame. In fact the number of 4 and 5 star ratings really makes me feel like I'm being punked. A regrettable hard pass that I dare not revisit.

TikTok had me really believing this one just might be the must watch we horror fans have been hoping for but nope.. more like a must miss. It really had the foundation to be an amazing horror flick but it was all over the place.. no character development, unrealistic reactions, people just doing things aimlessly without explanation.. tragic. I have to admit there were a handful of genuine jump scares but not enough to save this film, not even close. Place this one at the bottom of the barrel right next to Exorcist Believer and Nun II.

Do us a favor.. please don't make another! In 2023 there's no excuse for writing that has individuals following people into shadows after calling their names 10 times with no response. Also the pan away then pan back = jumpscare formula is so overdone it's ridiculous. I appreciate the attempt to finally give some insight to the "Nun's" M.O. but its still very mid. I'm glad I missed this in the theater.
