Probably the best movie I've had ever seen on Man-Animal conflict. Very realisticly shot.

Watching this movie one can only say that none has brought out Kolkata as brilliantly as Ray in his movies. This is also perhaps Madhabi Mukherjee's finest ever performance. She was absolutely brilliant in every scene. In my book, this is certainly one of the finest performances by any actress in Indian Cinema. Knowing Bangali will certaily help to understand nuance of Ray's brilliant direction.

Films are all about story telling and this film scores very high. Beautiful, simple story and brilliantly performed by Rajit and Manisha. Infect Manisha Koirala was brilliant in every scene and so is Rajit. Kudos to Deepti Naval for making a very fine film indeed.
