It was a fun ride, and has some funny moments. Some of the child roles are portrayed very well by the actors, which is usually hit or miss. Overall it's a goofy, edgy, horror movie. But it's worth a watch because Lupita is awesome, and portrayed one of the best school teachers ever. The only issue I had was, the whole first half of the movie tells us to dislike the idiot main character. Then he randomly gets the girl he has known for a day who already had a fiancee, and was way too good for him. He hardly redeemed himself enough to deserve her.
