What's with the negative reviews? Sure, the basic plot has been done dozens of times, but inside the predictible scenes are a lot of great laughs, beautiful Western scenery, and beautiful female leads. It's a sweet family-finds-their-center movie with enough coarse humor to make it great for adults.

If you can get past Adam Sandler's annoying and unnecessary twisted-face retard character, this is actually a pretty good movie. Lively and very funny at times, its good-guy-at-heart plot is good enough to carry it. An astonishing number of big-star cameos helps too.

How can this have gotten bad reviews? Lots of laugh-out loud lines, fun plot, great acting. Always a pleasure to see Baldwin & Hayek. Nicely paced, good cinematography, very fun and funny.
