Nicholas Honeyball

A wonderful film, quite inspirational and with a happy ending which I like. Heartwarming and with an intriguing plot.

Fiennes is excellent, as usual and his accent perfect. My family are from Norfolk. Beautiful photography and a poignant story. Presumably the young archaeologist is gay, and the split is more of a mutual acceptance that the young couple must go their separate ways. We see him going upstairs with his young male colleague at the Inn. The Sutton Hoo find was of landmark importance in our understanding of the Dark Ages, which were maybe not so dark after all.
