Save your money SPOILER. The killer walks around police and detectives in plain sight without a legitimate reason and isn’t even suspected. Ridiculous. Let’s give them more credit than that. Plot could have worked if writer or director had not used unbelievable ways to move the killer around. Killer is actually IN the meeting with law enforcement, getting coffee while the briefing is going on! And he’s not in a police uniform or even hiding. And there’s more of the same ridiculousness throughout the movie. Killer gets a ride with this superstar singer in her limo with no security or anyone to protect her and this is his first time he’s ever met her. Lol

They choose people who can’t even sing and Katy carries the host.

This should have stayed a stage play except for the fact that many would not get to see it. The acting is superficial for the most part (with the exception of the actor portraying Malcolm X). But the ‘points’ are made about the myriad of black experience and struggles. The second half of the film carries the first - if you can hold on until then.
