From start to finish .......2 1/2 hours of disjointed scenes that had no continuity at all. Because of all the awards and accolades showered on this compilation of frames, it shows that it is just all about the money especially when the producers had to suffer through the last screening.

My review, "I wish I could get back the 30 mins I wasted watching this."

As we all know, the 20's was a time of decadence and excess and this film could have depicted this as well as Boardwalk Empire, however this obviously overpriced flop was an hour and a half too long. This film is like a person that you dont know well sits down for 3 hours and goes into detail about their past debaucheries, guilty pleasures and daily toilet routine.

I gave this show a 4th try to see if I had missed something or was being too critical. I have never seen the UK version of this, which I understand is much better, for comparison. No, I was right the first 3 times. The performances are given like it is a painful duty on top of being written for the sophomoric that think poorly timed slapstick is great cinema. The fact that it is a rip off of another show waters it down even more. As far as the fake glowing reviews for this likely financial disaster saying it is a good show does not change the fact that it just plain sucks.

The best comedy show hands down since Big Bang. Great cast, and characters, well written, innovative. It does demand attention and geared toward those that enjoy witty satirical humor. In its 6th season, sure to be more. If you liked Big Bang, you will be a fan.

So far I have seen 8 episodes and have taken in and absorbed what is being revealed. I always thought what was revealed to the masses about this empire by media over the years was being glossed over and the up beat atmosphere televised at Playboy events concealed much. Over the last several years many women have come forward with their personal sexual abuse incidents that occurred involving many luminaries with the Me Too movement. This particular utopia frequented by numerous elites and personages just might be the tip of this massive iceberg.

This is a no miss series. One of Netflix best series to date.

Slow moving film that evokes layered emotions. If your expecting the action packed Nicolas Cage films of the last several years you will be disappointed. This film shows another side of him we have not seen and will not forget.

So far, my favorite Netflix series. Did not expect to binge it but did. This show is a must.
