I promised myself I would not compare the live action film to the original but it was hard not to be nostalgic of the cartoon masterpiece. The acting left a lot to be desired to be polite. Will Smith was the only savior with a few funny moments. Jafar omg where do I begin? I’m still flabbergasted by his lack luster performance, but generally it felt more like a high school play more than a professional big budget Hollywood production. I was a little disappointed and definitely will watch the cartoon again to get the memory of the movie out my head.
