I think it's unnecessary for Gayle to explain what the Talk of the Table segment is about. Just do it without acting as if those watching are idiots. This show has deteriorated with time and trying to change in in an effort to be more competitive with GMA and Today. Instead CBS just looks out of it. In Michigan, Bill Knapps restaurant chain decided to try to be more cool and fell flat, then closed. Don't try to be cool; just be good at what you do best, which is to provide low-key news without a lot of flash and noise.
